Early Intervention and Detection
Early Intervention and Detection

At Holistic Nurturing Health Hub, we believe every child deserves the chance to unlock their
boundless potential. Thanks to breakthroughs in neonatal care, high-risk babies are surviving like
never before—but many still navigate challenges like autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities,
cerebral palsy, and other neurodevelopmental disorders stemming from early complications.
The silver lining? The brain’s remarkable adaptability—known as neuroplasticity—peaks in the
first few years of life. By detecting issues early and intervening during this golden window, we
can reshape futures, fostering skills that lead to independence, joy, and success.
Our compassionate, comprehensive approach at Holistic Nurturing Health Hub empowers
children and families every step of the way. Here’s how we make a difference:
1.Proactive Neonatal Screening
We spot at-risk infants early through in-depth assessments, catching subtle developmental
hurdles before they grow into barriers.
2. Personalized Early Intervention Plans
Tailored to each child& unique story, our plans blend evidence-based therapies with
family-driven strategies for meaningful progress.
3. A Multidisciplinary Team Approach
From doctors and therapists to psychologists, educators, and social workers—our experts
collaborate to nurture the whole child.
4. Community and Social Support
Families are the heartbeat of change. We link parents to networks, resources, and
workshops, equipping them to champion their child’s growth.
5. Ongoing Monitoring and Follow-Ups
We adapt as children evolve, with regular check-ins to celebrate wins and refine support
for sustained thriving.
Through therapies like occupational and speech sessions, plus specialized programs, we harness
neuroplasticity to build communication, movement, and emotional strength—turning challenges
into triumphs.
At Holistic Nurturing Health Hub, we are not just addressing needs; we are crafting foundations for
lifelong achievement. Together, let’s transform potential into reality.

Inspiring Stories of Hope and Progress
These real-life journeys highlight the life-changing impact of early intervention. Each child’s
resilience, paired with our dedicated support, paints a picture of whats possible.
Charles Caleb: A Fighter's Triumph
Charles Caleb’s story is a beacon of hope, showcasing the magic of early intervention, family
love, and resilience. Born prematurely at 32 weeks amid a complicated twin pregnancy
complicated by antepartum hemorrhage and obstructed labor, Charles faced dire odds. His Apgar
scores plummeted—0 at 1 minute, 2 at 5 minutes, and 0 at 10 minutes—and at 2.6 kg, he battled
for survival in the NICU for 30 days.
His parents, gripped by uncertainty, found solace at Holistic Nurturing Health Hub. Our team
assessed his motor and cognitive delays and crafted a neuroplasticity-focused plan with
occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and home-based family training. Charles’s twin sister
became his playful motivator, boosting his social skills.
By age three, Charles was walking, talking, and exploring with curiosity. Today, he’s a vibrant
schoolkid, making friends and excelling in activities. His journey reminds us: With timely care,
every child can shine.
Steve: From Asphyxia to Independence
Steve’s arrival was marked by obstructed labor and severe birth asphyxia, with Apgar scores of 5
at 1 minute, 6 at 5 minutes, and 7 at 10 minutes. But early intervention turned the tide. At
Holistic Nurturing Health Hub, we provided targeted therapies to support his development. Now,
at three years old, Steve walks and talks independently, living a joyful, normal life full of play
and discovery.
Lawrence: Milestones Mastered
Lawrence endured prolonged labor and birth asphyxia, scoring 5 at 1 minute, 7 at 5 minutes, and
9 at 10 minutes on the Apgar scale. Our proactive interventions at the Hub helped him hit every
milestone. By three, he’s a bundle of energy—running, chatting, and embracing life’s adventures
with confidence.
Bravin: Overcoming Injury with Grace
Bravin’s breech presentation and prolonged labor led to brachial plexus injury and birth
asphyxia, with Apgar scores of 5 at 1 minute, 6 at 5 minutes, and 9 at 10 minutes. Through our
specialized care, his injury resolved, and he’s achieved all key milestones by age three—moving
freely and engaging with the world around him.
Clyde: Defying the Odds
Clyde faced obstructed labor, breech presentation, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy,
convulsions, and meningitis after birth. His Apgar scores were 1 at 1 minute, 3 at 5 minutes, and
4 at 10 minutes, requiring 30 minutes of resuscitation and a 30-day NICU stay. Post-discharge,
our immediate interventions sparked progress. At two years old, Clyde has gained neck control,
trunk stability, crawling skills, and is even attempting to stand—steps toward a brighter,
independent future.
Moses and Mac: Twin Victories
Born at 24 weeks due to preeclampsia, twins Moses and Mac battled prematurity. Moses,
weighing 815 grams with severe anemia and Apgar scores of 5 at 1 minute, 6 at 5 minutes, and 7
at 10 minutes, and Mac, at 1815 grams with severe jaundice, anemia, and scores of 8 at 1 minute,
8 at 5 minutes, and 9 at 10 minutes, received our early support. By one and a half years, they've
mastered milestones and live independently, their bond fueling mutual growth.
Grasha: Blossoming with Support
Grasha’s mother battled preeclampsia, leading to severe neonatal sepsis and jaundice at birth.
With our early interventions starting at four months, Grasha now walks independently at three
years old. Though she has a slight wobbling gait and unclear speech, her communication is
improving daily, filling her days with laughter and connection.
Mica: Steady Steps Forward
Mica overcame obstructed labor and severe birth asphyxia, with Apgar scores of 4 at 1 minute, 5
at 5 minutes, and 6 at 10 minutes. At four years old, she walks and talks independently, despite
minor drooling. Our ongoing therapies have helped her embrace a full, active life with resilience
and spirit.
